Worm to evolve on April 1
SAN FRANCISCO - A TENACIOUS computer worm which has wriggled its way onto machines worldwide is set to evolve on April Fool's Day, becoming harder to exterminate but not expected to wreak havoc.
A task force assembled by Microsoft has been working to stamp out the worm, referred to as Conficker or DownAdUP, and the US software colossus has placed a bounty of US$250,000 on the heads of those responsible for the threat.
The worm is programmed to modify itself on Wednesday to become harder to stop, according to Trend Micro threat researcher Paul Ferguson, who is part of the Conficker task force. '
There is no evidence of it going into attack mode or dropping any particular payload on April 1st,' Mr Ferguson said in an interview. '
What people controlling the botnet are doing is building in survivability because of efforts by the good guys to lessen the harm of this thing.' The worm, a self-replicating program, takes advantage of networks or computers that haven't kept up to date with security patches for Windows RPC Server Service.
It can infect machines from the Internet or by hiding on USB memory sticks carrying data from one computer to another. Once in a computer it digs deep, setting up defenses that make it hard to extract.
Malware could be triggered to steal data or turn control of infected computers over to hackers amassing 'zombie' machines into 'botnet' armies.
A troubling aspect of Conficker is that it harnesses computing power of a botnet to crack passwords.
Microsoft has modified its free Malicious Software Removal Tool to detect and get rid of Conficker.
'As this threat continues to evolve, Microsoft and other collaborative companies will continue to identify new ways to disrupt the Conficker threat to give customers more time to update their systems,' said Christopher Budd, security response communication lead for Microsoft. -- AFP

i wish that i never once did those foolish things.
i wish that i should've tolerated more and continue with the r/s.
i wish that i wouldn't have wished for anything.
i wish that more money would appear.
i wish that i'm not so stubborn.
i wish that she could accept me once again.
i wish that i can now just stop everything and reverse that time so that i can catch up.
i wish that i can still turn to her and pour everything out like how i once did.
i wish that everything will return to what it should be.
yet, all these are just foolish thinkings.

Today when i woke up i start by repairing Gerald Compaq Presario 2545AP which he pass to me yesterday before he fly off to china. After repairing his laptop i help my mum with the Store Room cos she need me to help her pack the Store Room and build the metal cupboard from scratch.

I wish i need not need to work for IT Show because it will immediately links me to her and making me see images in my mind of her working together with me in IT Show selling Freecom products. i lose my concentration totally because everytime i having Sore Throats she will buy Strepsils for me to let me recover my sore throats in order for me to carry on to sell products. Without her beside me when i having Sore Throats i need to buy Strepsils for myself to relief the pain in my throats.

I feel so vulnerable wasn't in the right mood since yesterday night. i had problem sleeping again. i don't really wish it was a total heartbreak instead of having it to crack slowly. i wish i need not be so emotionally carried away by her. i wish mum didn't stroke my hair like how babygirl once did. i wish that no one will remind me of stuffs that immediately links me to her and making me see images in my mind of her getting out of the bed. it really hurts me a lot. my heart is aching so much for her that i find it so difficult to breathe. why am i stuck in this situation? i really feel myself as a burden to everybody. i lost my soul for it's not with me. i lose my concentration totally.
I relied too much on you that when you're no longer beside me, i begin to fall deeply.
i know i have made you angry but i don't know the reason. now, i don't even know who is at fault. perhaps, it was me. i don't want to be affected by you. really. but somehow, because you are already part of me, your every action counts and adds on to my agony. my mind's in a blank, nothing is in me but you. i did try to put you aside and concentrate but each time i try, i fail. i tried to think about the happy moments but the happy moments with you simply makes me more vulnerable than ever. whenever i think about ite, i would think of you because you are once part of the ite life. that's how i got to know you. images of you trying to cry over me breaks my heart. my heart beats for you and at the same time, it aches for you too. i'm feeling really awful and terrible.
i read through my archives and we are really sweet in the past. things really turned haywire for the past 1 months. you were away to malaysia for one week. and after that, i was away to IT Show for one week. we didn't really have time to talk and meet each other. now that your parents found out more about us, i really find it so difficult to hold on. i tried my best to stay strong, to hold back my tears, to face everyone with a smile but i failed. you used to be the one who will encourage me but now, i don't have you by my side and i'm left with friends. i remember once when i cried over my results, i was crying so badly. now that you are not here for me, how am i suppose to lament my thoughts through tears? tearing is the only way i can lament my sorrows out.
do you remeber the first time we sang together? on the phone, we are singing Ting Ma Ma De Hua. how we grew closer and eventually become stead? and how chat over the phone will late night? when we hold hands? how we spent our anniversary? how you consoled me when i'm down? how you encourage me whenever i meet something that i can't handle? i hate to see the fact that we are falling out.
